"Ah! That one, thanks," he said, taking the bowl from him with a smile and filling it with some water he had in another bag. He also looked down under the bed, looking at her just to make sure there wasn't some surprise dead rat under there or whatever before setting the water bowl down by the treat. Next step: setting the litterbox up, which thankfully didn't take much work other than setting a little box down and filling it with, well, litter from a bag. "Yeahh, seems like it. It's... honestly sort of a nice setup, all things considered," he set the rest of the bags down and sighed, he was perfectly capable of carrying them all but it was still a decently long time he'd been carrying them for.
"Aww, c'mon, y'know that's not alllll they do, although it is fun to see 'em scramble," he laughed as he sat on Mephis's lap, putting a hand behind him on the bed to shift his weight so it wasn't -all- on the smaller man. "They also, uhh, geez, hold on, um..." he put his other arm around Mephis, bringing up some website on his PADD that had a map of the starbase. "Let's see, well, they also have peace conferences, for one, and they have starbases with uhhh, restaurants and a club and a holodeck and man, they've got the works, actually. What's an ar-bor-et-um?" He zoomed in on the little area, which was next to something called the parkland. "It's next to the parkland, maybe some sort of food truck type shit," that was genuinely his best guess. Reminded him of some food trucks that would be in the park back on Earth.
